Sources & assumptions

Every number here can be traced to something

Four classifications, applied consistently across every calculator: a published UK statutory rate, a claim Aslan publishes itself, a figure you entered, or an illustrative assumption we chose and you can change. Tax year 2025/26. Aslan content verified September 2026.

Filter by classification. If a row is illustrative, the model does not treat it as a fact — and neither should your business case.

Limitations

What this model cannot tell you

It does not know Aslan's price

Aslan publishes no price list or tiers — pricing is set on enquiry. Payback and ROI therefore appear only when you enter a platform cost yourself.

It does not know your Roarwards rate

No headline reward rate is published. The rate in every card calculation is an illustrative input that you should replace with your contracted figure.

It cannot promise a retention improvement

Retention value is shown as the worth of one percentage point at your own turnover and replacement cost — a scenario to argue, never a saving to bank.

It does not decide tax treatment

Trivial Benefits eligibility, salary sacrifice and National Minimum Wage floors depend on your circumstances. Every calculator says so at the point of the number.

It has no implementation timeline

Aslan publishes no standard onboarding duration, so we show published customer evidence instead of inventing weeks.

It is a model, not an audit

Averages across a workforce are not the same as employee-level payroll data. Validate a shortlist of real records before board sign-off.
